For this clip we had to add a camera shake when the baseball player hit the ball, firstly we imported the footage then made a new composition, we then first selected position using the (P) shortcut and created two keyframes on the X & Y axis, one at when the player first begins to swing the bat and one when he is finished.
We then opened up the wiggler tool, this tool adds a certain amount of pixel shake a certain amount of times per second, we added 25 pixels of shake per second, this would give us the intended effect we was looking for, once we added the wiggler effect we was left with the problem of the footage moving and exposing the matte background, to fix this we added the effect motion tile, this descreetly mirrors the footage onto the exposed background and makes the footage look part of the shot.
We then rendered in H.264
The second task we had was the opposite, this was to stabilise a shaky piece of footage, to do this we firstly made a new composition, we then opened up the motion tracking workspace, we then selected the warp stabiliser setting, and after effects begun to analyse the footage, whilst the footage was being analysed we selected the smooth motion box and selected no motion, this effect makes the footage look like it was shot on a tripod. It creates this by creating offset keyframes for the left, right, top and bottom of the footage. We then rendered in in H.264
