For this challenge we had to replace the background of some stock footage we were given with an image of a mountain background, to do this i firstly went into photoshop with a screenshot of the mountains and stock footage, i then used the eraser tool and feathered the mountain so it would blend in with the original footage, once i had done this i exported the composition and added it back to after effects.
Now that i had the new image of the mountains i 3D tracked the stock footage of the people walking, when the tracking had finished i created a 3d camera so the image appeared to be in the same shot as the people walking, to enable the image to move the same way as the footage i made the image a 3D layer by selecting the 3D layer box.
Now that the mountain was tracked onto the footage i made a new adjustment layer and added a photo filter to blend the layers together, i then exported in H.264
